Animated Volume Rendering of 3D Ultrasound

Volume rendering projects a section of 3D ultrasound data onto a 2D image plane. The volume is animated by displaying renderings from a sequence of diferent viewing directions. The viewer can interactively rotate the volume, imparting a sense of depth. An example of a resulting volume rendering is displayed below.
